Appointed to undertake the Economic Impact Assessment of Southampton Airport

AGS Airports Limited has appointed SDG Economic Development together with Steers Davies Gleave to undertake an economic impact assessment of Southampton Airport. 

The assignment will review the current economic impact of the airport, and its potential economic impact under different future development scenarios. The work includes a detailed analysis of the airport’s operational data, extensive socio-economic profiling of the area the airport serves, assessments of employment, spending multipliers at a variety of spatial levels and a programme of stakeholder consultation.
