Working together to better serve clients

SDG Economic Development's team and Steer Davies Gleave's experts are working closely together with Transport for London and Westminster City Council on options for improving the public realm on London's Oxford Street and in the surrounding area.

The proposals for these improvements and the pedestrianisation of Oxford Street are currently subject to public consultation. SDG Economic Development's role is to support the development of both the Strategic and Economic Cases for public funding to enable the improvements to take place, such as the devising of a tax increment financing scheme to support the suggested improvements. 

This is one of a number of assignments where SDG Economic Development's specialists are working closely with Steer Davies Gleave’s wider transport and movement experts, bringing the best of the two worlds together and sharing best practises and resources.
