Producing an insight report for scale-ups across Yorkshire

Steer Economic Development has been commissioned by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, on behalf of the four Growth Hubs/LEPs across Yorkshire, to produce an insight report on the scale-up eco-system and support offer across Yorkshire. The report will include recommendations for future engagement with scale-ups across the region. 

The report will draw on Steer Economic Development’s expertise in business support and regional knowledge and involves two main workstreams: 

• Literature review and data analysis: A review of scale-up and business growth policy and activity and analysis of scale-up data from secondary datasets to provide an insight into the nature of scale-up and high-growth businesses across the region. 
• Fieldwork: Interviews with key stakeholders and scale-up businesses across the region to capture views of the current scale-up ecosystem and the gaps/opportunities for future support.
