Following the publication of the Local Industrial Strategy, Oxfordshire LEP (OxLEP) has commissioned Steer-ED to transform a set of emerging Innovation Eco-System projects into a coherent and visionary delivery plan, and to craft the content for outreach to a range of external audiences, from the public sector to private investors. 

Steer Economic Development was commissioned by Northumberland County Council (NCC) in October 2019 to create a Strategic Economic Masterplan for the Ashington to Newcastle Rail Corridor (‘The Northumberland Line’).

The National Innovation Centre for Ageing has appointed Steer Economic Development to provide consultancy support to identify how NICA can internationalise its activities to support commercialisation of innovation in longevity and ageing-related markets.

Working for The University of Manchester, we have been commissioned to develop the business case for a new commercial company to drive the commercialisation of Graphene in Manchester. The work is being led by Simon Pringle, supported by Dr Robert Macnee, with additional inputs being provided by Dr Mark Matthews, one of Steer-ED’s Specialist Advisers.

Steer Economic Development has been appointed by a partnership created by The University of Liverpool and the Hartree Centre (part of the Science and Technology Facilities Council) to support the development of a Strength in Places bid.

Steer Economic Development has been appointed as Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership’s preferred supplier to provide consultancy services in the areas of appraisal and evaluation.

Steer Economic Development has been commissioned by the Sheffield City Region (SCR) to support the development of a Vision Framework, and Action Plan for the SCR’s Global Innovation Corridor (GIC).

Steer Economic Development is working with the Lancashire Enterprise Partnership and its partners to develop its Local Industrial Strategy.
